Musciara is a charming Boutique Hotel hosted in an ancient mansion dating back to 19th century, recently restored by local skilful craftsmen: stone arches, white-washed ceilings, high quality fabrics characterize its atmosphere. Among the innumerable hotels in Syracuse, Musciara is the only one boasting a privileged position right in front of the sea and offering its guests an exclusive private sandy beach.

Musciara’s 11 bedrooms are either standard or superior, and are all equipped with flat screen satellite TV, phone, mini-bar, safe box, air-conditioning and heating. The Suite, provided with jacuzzi, can also boast 2 spacious terraces, one of them facing the sea.
Guests will be served either continental or American breakfast, with homemade jams and cakes, on the hotel terrace facing the sea or in the breakfast lounge inside the Maison.
The hotel lounge, overlooking the private beach, is furnished with large and comfortable sofas, and boasts a gorgeous view on both the "porto piccolo" and Ortigia isle.
On request, guests may taste delicious fresh fish, shellfish and champagne and have their dinner served on the beach.
Maison Musciara has been thought as a proper guest-house, and offers an elegant, intimate and comfortable accommodation for a very special stay. Should they wish more privacy, guests can also choose one of the 3 independent apartments, all with sea-view, only 50m away from the main building. The Maison Musciara is only a few steps from Ortigia isle - Syracuse historic centre - which we suggest to reach by boat to fully enjoy its gorgeous view. Within reach are the most precious jewels of Sicilian Baroque: Noto, Modica and Ragusa Ibla. Bird watching lovers can visit Vendicari Nature Reserve - an oasis of peace and silence a few kilometres away - but if you like panoramic tours to find out hidden and charming corners, we surely suggest you a driving exploration of the splendid Riviera Iblea.
Additional Information
The private beach is open to guests eight months a year, and it's equipped with deckchairs, umbrellas, outdoor showers and lounge bar.
