Orca’s outside warm pastel tints gladden us as we seize the property contours from the stone path leading to the Villa patio. Lush Mediterranean vegetation and fragrant spice plants enrich the breathtaking terrace views of the sea. A large wooden table with benches set on the outdoor sheltered veranda is an optimal corner for enjoyable al fresco early-evening aperitifs watching romantic sea sunsets. Close to the Villa patio, a pool embedded in a stony outline will keep you cool during hot lazy days and surely entertain your kids for most of the time. Orca’s location is absolutely perfect for mountain excursions through a close safe path trimmed with olive and pine trees trickling down the mountain top. A lot of amusing outdoor activities await you but now we bet you are anxious to see Orca’s inside… aren’t you?
As we step into Orca’s front door we are literally struck by a stylish white-blinding kitchen/living area. Our eyes immediately set on the room’s red curtains, lamp and carpet showing up lively against the whiteness of the environment.
Orca’s elegant terracotta floor tiles perfectly match the dark-blue nuances of the corner sofa as well as the rest of the graceful sitting room furniture.
A spacious bright double bedroom with en suite bathroom is located close to the living area. Opposite, a cosy corridor leads to Orca’s sleeping area composed of two more airy double bedrooms, one single bedroom, a comfortable bathroom with shower as well as a practical pantry room. All Villa bedrooms are very bright, capacious and well-equipped with spacious wardrobes.
Orca is less than 10 minutes drive from the sea and offers a local wine selection directly from the property owner. The Villa is also equipped with stereo and TV set.
Area details
Orca is located in Scopello, close to Castellammare del Golfo. This last is a famous and fascinating gulf in North-West Sicily. Among Castellammare top attractions is a beautiful Castle dominating the harbour. Scopello’s beautiful beaches are probably closer to Orca, but a day spent at Castellammare sandy beaches is a real “must”. Scopello will certainly impress you with its amazing stony beaches and stacks dropping in the sea. Besides, the “Tonnara di Scopello” is a magic historic place witnessing the traditional Mediterranean tuna fishery in the island. One will certainly appreciate the medieval tower hanging over the site surrounded by beautiful oleanders, olive and almond trees. Don’t miss visiting the incomparable Erice with its stunning medieval architecture as well as the beautiful archaeological site of Segesta.
Additional Information
The private pool open to guests from 7th April to 26th October. The pool is available out of season for an additional charge of € 120 per week.
