Property details
Inside The main entrance hall accesses the property's upper ground floor, consisting of a reception area with a wonderful glass garden. From here, an elegant staircase leads to the lower ground floor where the beautifully-appointed garden-level apartment is located.
A cozy lounge room takes to a spacious dining/living room decorated with antiques and suites of armor and brighten up by ample French windows overlooking a spectacular outdoor vaulted-ceiling wrap-around terrace. The area includes two lovely sitting corners furnished with confortable sofas.
A fully-fitted kitchen and a bathroom are just opposite the sitting room. From here, a corridor takes to the sleeping quarter consisting of one double bedroom with en suite bathroom (with tub) and another double bedroom and a twin sharing a bathroom with tub. All bedrooms have large windows with views of the perfect-kept garden.
Opposite the sleeping quarter, is a beautiful games room equipped with billiards (carom table) and ping pong, what a perfect place to be after busy days spent sightseeing.
Outside The wonderful outdoor terrace, furnished with tables and chairs, provides a helpful secondary access to the apartment.
Here, a walking path in the garden takes to the outstanding pool area, a real paradise hidden amongst lawns and spectacular varieties of palm trees and shrubs. The enormous private pool (25x12 meters) is located in a gorgeous setting with elegant statues scattered throughout the grounds. Poolside, are three comfortable covered terraces furnished with tables and chairs, ideal to enjoy alfresco aperitifs by the striking infinity pool.
There is also an ancient little church set between the property and the pool area where to celebrate religious events.
At the back of the garden, a gate leads down to a white sandy beach (200 meters).

Villa Elisa is located in Avola, at walking distance from a beautiful sand beach. Avola is a popular seaside resort well-known for its Nero D'Avola wine and almonds production. The resort stands between two Nature Reserves (Riserva Naturale del Cassibile and Riserva Naturale di Vendicari) while Noto, Modica and Syracuse with their baroque monuments and palaces are just a short drive away. Slightly further afield are Ragusa, Scicli, Taormina, Catania and Mt.Etna, all good day trips. Besides the sandy beach at walking distance from the property, the area boasts a wide selection of other beautiful sandy beaches within 20-40 minutes.
Additional Information
The helpful property caretaker, who lives in a separate apartment on the upper floor, provides a 24-hour assistance locally. The caretaker doesn't use the pool and the garden while guests are at the property and will fully respect your own privacy.
