The house is a prestigious building dating back to the 1780’s, firstly restored in 1866 and lately by the actual owner. From the main entrance you are admitted to a wide hall, where you can turn right and enter the wide fully equipped kitchen and the lively dining room, with stylish classical furniture. Turning left you may enter the bright parlour, with wide windows to enjoy the country sight, comfortable sofas, a gaming table and a sitting area with wide screen satellite TV, DVD and an elegant stone fireplace.
Going up - through an elegant staircase - to the first floor, on the right you can find a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower and a handy chair bed. In front of the staircase a wide hall opens, with prestigious paintings, a refined stone fireplace and a precious Venetian chandelier. From here you can turn right and find another double bedroom with en-suite bathroom equipped with Turkish bath, while on the left there are two double bedrooms, both with en-suite bathroom with shower, and a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with tub. All bedrooms have prestigious classical furniture and antique paintings on the walls.
Just outside the kitchen, you may find a wide barbecue area to dine alfresco, and a few steps ahead the laundry and ironing room. The gorgeous swimming pool with solarium is beyond, under two tall palm trees, and it’s also equipped with a large stone spa. On one side, the picturesque courtyard hosts a spacious game hall - with billiard table, table-tennis, table football, pinball machine, TV, computer and internet corner - and a dépendance with a double bedroom, bathroom with shower, living room with kitchenette, TV and air conditioning. Just in front you’ll see the pretty modern church - built by the actual owner and capable of at least 50 seats – and the beauty centre, equipped with sauna, Turkish bath, massage room, toilet and a wide jacuzzi, which overlooks the swimming pool through large windows. From the terrace on top of this building you can even see as far as the Etna volcano.

If you love riding on horseback, you can request horses to explore this stunning property with its extensive vineyards and olive trees or the near Cimia Wood. If you prefer the seaside, the nearest beach is Orlando-Falconara Lido, only 30 km away from the house. But the area is worldwide renowned for its Villa Romana del Casale in Piazza Armerina, a spectacular villa dating back to the Roman Imperial age with about 3500 square metres of precious mosaics, the most visited archaeological site in Italy after the Roman Forums. The ruins of Morgantina, a large Hellenised town very interesting for its urban structure, are located near Aidone, about 10 km from the property. We also suggest you a visit to the near Enna and Caltanissetta, whose historical centres are certainly noteworthy, and a trip to Caltagirone, famous for its Museum of Sicilian artistic ceramics and the spectacular Santa Maria del Monte Feast, on July 24th/25th, when the 142 steps of Santa Maria del Monte church are lighted by thousands of small lights. If industrial archaeology tickles your fancy, the property falls in the area of Floristella Grottacalda Mining Park, where you can visit the old sulphur mines.

With its pretty church and comfortable outdoor areas, the property is the perfect place to arrange weddings or other ceremonies on request. As in every self-respecting farm, you can buy excellent local products cost price: wine, extra-virgin olive oil, pulped tomatoes, dried tomatoes and olives in oil, pesto, caponata and peperonata, fruit jams, pistachios almonds and nuts, prickly pears, peaches, figs, plums, fresh vegetables, mushrooms, aromatic herbs and fresh eggs.
Since, even in the hot summer, the house is usually very cool, air conditioning is unnecessary. However, it is available in the dépendance for those who prefer lower temperatures.
