Olga is located in the valley of Menfi, surrounded by the splendid vineyards that characterize this area of Sicily. Villa Olga enjoys the privilege of having one of the most incredible panoramic view over the South-coast for more than 4 miles, which grants peace and a real symbiosis with the sea. The villa is an ultra modern one story floor floating above the Mediterranean coast, which the spectacular pool and garden as well as the living room and some of the bedrooms overlook. A few stairs, going down through the furnished panoramic terrace, lead you from the house to the unique swimming pool area below. Here the shade of the palm trees, the fragrances of Mediterranean flowers and plants scattered on the well-tended lawns... sprawling in the sun on deckchairs, enjoying a nice aperitif under the lovely gazebo, you'll have the time of your life at Villa Olga.
The interiors of the house look very cosy and comfortable in their modern style furniture, and reflect the relaxed atmosphere of the house. Entering the house you'll find a bright living/dining room overlooking the pool and sea, and a roomy reading area with open-plan kitchen. Going ahead a bathroom with shower, a bright double bedroom with sea view and a second lovely double bedroom. From the outside terrace you will enter the other 2 double bedrooms (1 with sea view) the bunk bedroom, and a lovely bathroom with shower. Also at the back of the house a 3rd bathroom and external shower. The villa has also a large private parking right at the back of house.
Area details
As well as being a lovely seaside village with one of the most beautiful Sicilian sandy beaches (Portopalo beach, 5min drive from the house, voted in 2010 as 1 of the 4 best beaches in Sicily), Menfi is renowned for being one of the greatest area for the production of wine; here the Planeta family, well-known all over the world for their refined red & white wines made its fortune. If you're interested in archaeology, you can visit the spectacular Valley of the Temples 80 kms away, and the grand site of Selinunte at 20min. drive. If you love great natural scenarios, you'll be fascinated by the extensive sandy beach in Eraclea Minoa, the white cliffs of Scala dei Turchi and Torre Salsa Nature Reserve, at a few miles away from the villa.
Additional Information
Since, even in the hot summer - thanks to the house position above the vineyards of Menfi - Olga is usually very cool, air conditioning is unnecessary. However, the villa is equipped with fans.
