Stepping over the gate to the internal court, you will be charmed by the loud green of ivy clinging to the façade, creating both a powerful and familiar contrast with the rosy orange of the house. Right in the middle of the court, a pretty fish-pond with its shy red guests reflects the surrounding colours, in a never ending play with light.
Entering the front door, you will be thrilled by the airiness of internal space. A look at the lengthy corridor running along the whole ground floor; one after the other the colourful and roomy 6 bedrooms with their likewise colourful and comfortable bathrooms whisper of their peace and silence, of lazy sleeps and joyful awakenings in the wonderful relaxation of this magic and spiritual spot. At the right end of the corridor a captivating TV lounge, with comfortable sofas and a nicely equipped hi-fi and satellite TV area. Now your imagination runs free and dreams of lazy moments spent sun-bathing or just floating on the water, breezy lunches or dining al fresco, afternoon naps in the cool shadow and, why not? romantic whispers under a starry sky… Aren’t you forgetting something? Oh yes! Turning back to the internal court, you will find another covered and furnished terrace, the perfect place for a barbecue or a pizza. Right! Because the property also boasts a wood-burning oven! Are you already fancying a nice pizza-making session? But it’s not over! A few kilometres away you can find Sciacca and its beaches, or a longer drive further, the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, or the Greek temples in Segesta and Selinunte, the magic charm of Eraclea Minoa, with its gorgeous lengthy beach and interesting archaeological area, or the beauties of Torre Salsa Nature Reserve.

Additional Information
A care-taker will always be at your service for whatever necessities you may have, or as a guide for your excursions in the surrounding area. Cook service is available on request. Daily breakfast, expenses for power and water, and daily cleaning are all included in the rental price. It’s recommendable to look after children when using the 'home-theatre room’.
Guests booking Il Gorgo will also have the chance to visit the XVI century Santa Maria del Bosco Abbey (1km away), likewise belonging to the property owner.
Due to the high position, the temperature is always nice and cool, even in hot August days, particularly at night, therefore air conditioning is unnecessary. However, the villa is equipped with ceiling fans.
